Server has been updated to 1.2.3 beta. Many plugins broke because of this update. Some i could replace with other similar ones. Some i have simply removed.

As the 1.1 minecraft update came out earlier today, bukkit now released the first dev builds of 1.1 So we have updated to 1.1 already. Let me know if you experience any weirdness.

Updated the server version of craftbukkit again with latest build of today. Should contain some fixes again. Let me know if you have any issues.

Quick notify regarding a server update. Before the weakend we updated to the last release of CraftBukkit 1.0.1

A message to give you all an update regarding the status of the MineCraft Server. After an initial bug on the map we have switched to a new map recently and migrated some buildings of users to this new map. So far the map is running well and all players are happily mining.

Be sure to check the 3D Generated map of our new world. Happy Mining!!

The time has come, MineCraft has gone gold with version 1.0.0. Shortly a stable release of CraftBukkit will be released.

As this point in time it is still unclear if the server will restart the world. If you have serious objections against a world reset. Let yourself be heard (on irc).

The [DI] MineCraft server has been migrated to the new server. The old server is still running with an announcement of the new server IP address ( 62.129.143.50 ) and hostname of the server.

Players that were already using the hostname, mc.digitalinsurgent.com or minecraft.digitalinsurgent.com most likely have not noticed the change of servers, the DNS update.

Some bugs remain however, one of them is the Virtual Shop issue, where the lost database connection (time out) does not get re-established automatically and requires a restart of the server. Highly inconvenient. We are in anticipation for a fix/update for this plugin. Enjoy your mining, trading and/or building!

The server is now equipped with the EnderMod plugin. The plugin alters the behaviour of the endermen a bit. It limits which blocks the endermen can interact with. Effectively preventing it from ruining your structures, at least if you do not use the blocks the endermen can still interact with. The blocks are, 1, 2, 3, 12 and 13, which are, stone, dirt, dirt with grass, sand and gravel. The damage required to kill an endermen has been doubled. Happy Endermen Killing!

Just a notification to let all players know that the bedtime plugin has been removed. It was creating to strange behavior which made some players teleport to their last bed at random. Too annoying. I will look into other plugins that would give us the same kind of functionality. Happy Mining!

Most of the players know already that the server has been upgraded to the minecraft 1.8.1 based craftbukkit build. Initially we started with build #1118, which was updated to build #1124 and are now at build #1126 as i have updated the server again this morning. The updates address some bugs that were in the previous builds.

When we upgraded CraftBukkit to the 1.8.1 based build we also decided to start a new world. We have practiced all on the 1.7.3 map to learn how things work and to see what you want to build. Now in this map, try to build your nicest buildings. Buy and sell items from (a new) virtual shop, to acquire the resources you need to build your palace!

Most of the plugins still function properly, though we are anticipating an update for the Virtual Shop as the new version of MineCraft has new items to craft, find and of course sell! The bedtime plugin will mostlikely be dropped soon due to weirdness in people getting teleported to their beds and the plugin not registering idle/unidle players properly. In case you have a good suggestion for a plugin, of course let me know.

The server is also listed on minecraftserver.com and planetminecraft.com, so expect new unknown players to join the server. Admins of the server will grant build permissions when the players seems to be capable of following the rules. There is zero tolerance for wankers on the server, server admins can and will ban any idiot at first sight! So just behave like an adult, respects other peoples work and you have nothing to fear!

If you notice any weird things on the server, try to describe the situation as most accurate as you can, and place it as a comment under this news post. So we can address the issue if easy to reproduce to the authors of craftbukkit
